Senate Bill 135: Bipartisan bill with significant health insurance company opposition. Patients with cancer or autoimmune diseases no longer need prior authorization from their insurance provider to be approved for treatment or prescription medications.

2023: UNLAWFUL ACCESS TO FIREARM BY MINOR
House Bill 9: As a contract lobbyist for Everytown for Gun Safety, passed what is known as “Benny’s Law” which increases penalties for improperly stored weapons that end up in the hands of children who then use them for purposes of intimidation or violence. Passed through four committees and two floor votes with prior vote counts within an accuracy of +/- one vote.

2021: LIQUOR LICENSE REFORM
House Bill 255: Co-authored and passed the first sweeping, bipartisan liquor legislation in over 40 years to allow home delivery of alcohol, create a new class of restaurant liquor licenses, expand alcohol tastings, and bring reciprocity and parity to craft beer, wine and spirits manufacturers. Testified as an expert witness and created talking points at all stages.
